What is Sioux Falls Green Drinks?
Green Drinks is a free and informal monthly mixer that brings together folks who are interested in sustainable business, design, policy and living. This is your chance to connect up and help shape a future that's green and happy in the Sioux Falls region.
Green Drinks usually takes place on the fourth Wednesday of each month, at some fine establishment in Sioux Falls. From 5-6:15p, it's come-and-go free form networking; we pass the convo starter bucket in case you need it. Then at 6:15p, we give everyone a chance to share their own green news and notes with a 'round-the-room, and take in a short talk by a wise and local greenie. Things usually wind down around 7:30p.
Join us for good booze, good convo and a little networking with other environmentally minded people. Green Drinks is always free. (You will need to buy your own drinks though)

An International Phenomenon
Every month people who work in the environmental field meet up at informal sessions all over the world known as Green Drinks. There are Green Drinks sessions in almost 600 cities these days.
We have a lively mixture of people from NGOs, academia, government and business. Come along and you'll be made welcome. Just say, "are you green?" and we will look after you and introduce you to whoever is there. It's a great way of catching up with people you know and also for making new contacts. Everyone invites someone else along, so there’s always a different crowd, making Green Drinks an organic, self-organising network.
These events are very simple and unstructured, but many people have found employment, made friends, developed new ideas, done deals and had moments of serendipity. It's a force for the good and we'd like to help it spread to other cities. Contact your local node to get the latest info about coming along.
